OUR STORY

Our company was founded in 1993 in Latsia, by Andreas Varnava, and was one of the first industrial engineering companies on the island.

Throughout the years, our company was able to grow, expand and develop the know-how and expertise to become the leader in its sector in Cyprus.

Andreas Varnava is the director and founder of Varnava Mechanical Engineering Services. He has been working in the field for almost 40 years. Andreas was born in 1960, in Nicosia. He studied in Athens and got his technician diploma. He started his professional career, in 1981, working at industries in the field of cosmetics (Conal) and then chocolate (Melita). While working at those companies he was assigned to travel and provide services in large factories in Bulgaria, Romania, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Yemen. His constant need to evolve and his urge to be involved with a variety of industries, drove him to the decision to become self-employed and provide his own services in the field of Mechanical Engineering. His sustainability in the field and the strong bond he made with his customers throughout the years are making him proud of this decision.

Stelios Varnava is the Project Manager of Varnava Mechanical Engineering Services. Stelios was born in 1984, in Nicosia. He studied in Athens and got his bachelor in mechanical engineering. At the beginning of his professional career he worked as a design engineer (Mecone) and then as a project manager (Heatflow) in the building industry. His biggest career challenge came after when he was employed at Perm, Russia (Red October) in the wood plant industry. He fullfiled a 5 year contract starting as a Chief Engineer in the production line and then as a Director Engineer. After the completion of his contract, in 2018, he decided to move back to Cyprus and get involved in the family business founded by his father. His vast experience and mechanical knowledge enriched the services the business has now to offer.
